Boy band coming to London next month

X Factor finalists One Direction will be playing nine London dates over the coming months.

London's O2 Arena will see Liam, Harry, Zane, Niall, and Louis perform on nine separate occasions between February 22nd and April 5th.

The four boys rose to fame when they finished third on the 2010 ITV series X Factor and have successfully broke into the US market.

Their Up All Night release was the first debut album by a UK artist to take the number one space in the Billboard 200 chart and has earned them a place in the Guinness World Book of Records.

On exiting X Factor, One Direction were signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco and have notched up two number one singles and two hit albums.

Tickets to see One Direction perform at the O2 Arena start at £28.75 and are expected to sell out quickly, so fans planning stays in central London hotels need to act quickly.

The O2 Arena is close to the North Greenwich Underground station and is ideal for those staying in central London. As well as hosting large gigs and events, the O2 complex also contains an 11-screen cinema, a 2,410 capacity live music club for smaller concerts and a two-storey exhibition space known as the O2 Bubble.

April will see Meat Loaf head to London as part of his farewell tour. The rocker will perform on April 5th and has confirmed the concert will consist of two parts – the first dedicated to his greatest hits and the latter featuring a full rendition of the classic Bat Out of Hell album.
