For the past decade, John Bishop has burst on the British comedy scene and proved exactly why he’s one of the top funnymen going around – and now he is bringing his nationwide tour to London.
On November 28th and 29th, Mr Bishop is set to take Wembley Stadium by storm with his Supersonic tour that has been keeping members of the British public in fits of laughter. The Liverpudlian originally broke out onto the scene in 2009 when he made a few appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, and since then has appeared on a wide variety of comedy tours, panel shows and his recent tour DVD even became the fastest selling of its kind in the UK of all time.
Fans of the comedian will know that Bishop brings his usual charm to his dry and droll stories. Looking back at his ordinary life growing up in the North, he manages to paint what would be boring tales in a hilarious fashion. And with him having the huge Wembley stage to work with, you know that this is one comedy show you will not want to miss this autumn.
There are also a wide variety of bars and restaurants around the stadium, so after all those laughs, you may want to make a real night out of it and party until the wee hours of the morning. Particular highlights include cosy local pub JJ Moons and superclub Crystal. Either way, you are bound to have a fantastic night out and a rough head to deal with the morning after.
Tickets start from £35 and the show begins at 8pm local time. You can access Wembley Arena from the Shaftesbury hotels via London’s extensive Underground network.
