Some of the biggest tennis legends of all time are gearing up for the Statoil Masters Tennis tournament, which is kicking off in London at the beginning of December.

If you’re a fan of the sport and have kept up with it for the past ten years or so, then names like Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, John McEnroe and Pat Rafter will sound familiar.

This winter, you’ve got the chance to watch these champions battle it out at the Royal Albert Hall, where Henman will be looking to defend his title.

Despite having officially retired from tennis, these sportsmen are just as competitive as they ever were and play at an unbelievably high level.

For your chance to see some of the best champions from yesteryear take on one another, buy tickets – which cost between £12.50 and £99.50 depending on your proximity to the court and the view of your seats – as soon as possible.

The event runs from December 4th to 8th, with the last day of the competition being the Winter Whites Gala.

This tennis and celeb extravaganza will feature appearances from tennis stars Boris Becker and Novak Djokovic – world number one – as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

If you’re staying in the Big Smoke for the duration of the Masters Tennis tournament, then make sure you browse for the best London hotel special offers online, as there are some great places to get a room near the Royal Albert Hall, located in the heart of the city.

The best way to reach the venue if you’re travelling from elsewhere in the capital is by catching the District or Circle line to High Street Kensington or South Kensington, or the overground to London Victoria.
