London clubs gear up for NYE

Those staying in central London hotels this weekend for New Year's Eve celebrations have been given the top party destinations by Time Out London.

The local events magazine urges people to "go big or go home" as a number of the capital's top nightlife destinations go all out to ring in 2012.

Just off of trendy Shoreditch High Street, Urban Nerds is hosting a special New Year's Eve party boasting an array of guest and in-house DJs.

The venue is teaming up with party planners BassLaced for a celebration of UK bass, featuring performers Loefah, Boddika, Pinch, Jackmaster, b2b Oneman, Deadboy, Redinho, Spencer and Chunky.

Partiers eager to attend the event should be quick to snap up tickets as the first five releases sold out.

Perennial clubbing favourite Fabric is hosting its own New Year's Eve event, with three rooms full of the best DJ talents, such as Craig Richards, Terry Francis and the mighty Lil' Louis, among others.

Those unable to attend the venue can enjoy the ambiance with a live stream of the main room's acts via the venue's website.

Additionally, revellers can celebrate 2011's end at a joint effort of nightlife experts Bugged Out and XOYO.

"Breakthrough production duo, The 2 Bears, will be headlining the Bugged Out crew's New Year's bash with support from L-Vis 1990 (Night Slugs), Nathan Detroit, Disco Bloodbath's Ben Pistor and Damon Martin and new house troupe Legendary Children," explained Time Out.

"These guys are going to party hard and they want you to join them."

Meanwhile, those looking for a more interactive evening can attend the Players Ball New Year's Eve celebrations with Hip Hop Karaoke.

While top DJs Rob Pursey and Davey Boy Smith play their unique brand of bass-fuelled anthems, attendees can pick up the mic and wow the audience with their singing skills.
