Relight your fire with Take That at The O2

To suggest that Take That are one of the biggest bands the UK has created would be a huge understatement. Having enjoyed 27 top-40 singles, 16 top-five tracks and seven number-one albums, these guys are a rare example of being both commercially and critically successful – and now you can catch them at The O2.

Over the years, the line-up of this band has shaken up dramatically. In 1995, Robbie Williams left the group to pursue a very successful solo career, and Take That was left to disband a year later. A decade on, the four of them returned and enjoyed what is often considered unusual for a successful comeback – if anything, they were bigger now than they ever were. In 2010, Robbie re-joined and they had huge success with their album Progress, having managed to sell 235,000 copies of it on its first day of release.

The band once again went on a two-year hiatus, with Gary Barlow becoming lead judge on reality show The X Factor and Robbie becoming a father for the first time. Skip to today, and Robbie and Jason Orange have both confirmed their departures, but that has not stopped the remaining three members on putting on a show of a lifetime.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will be on an arena tour next year to promote their new offering III. Fans will be able to enjoy new tracks, such as These Days, and all the classics including Relight My Fire, Patience, Pray and Rule the World. And to top it all off, X Factor finalist and ‘big name of 2014’ Ella Henderson will be supporting them.

If you want to catch these guys doing what they do best, they will be playing the O2 from June 4th to 15th 2015 – book a room at the Shaftesbury hotels today!
