Spend the evening with Dame Diana Rigg

Dame Diana Rigg has had one hell of a career. Appearing on both stage and screen, she has seen it all, and now you can spend an evening with her as she tells you anecdotes about her life.

Dame Diana Rigg – No Turn Unstoned will be an interesting insight into not just her work and life but the wider theatrical world and a celebration of the actors who have managed to survive it. Rigg is, of course, one such individual, having appeared in the likes of Medea, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Avengers, Mother Courage, Mother Love and, more recently, the fantasy epic Game of Thrones. Over the years, she has managed to win a multitude of Tonys and Emmys for her performance and now she is bringing her bestselling work to the West End for the first time.

The tale began when critic John Simon made an uncouth comment about Rigg’s nude scene in Abelard and Heloise. Rigg was quickly interested in how theatre has been criticised, going as far back as Ancient Greece, and so she wrote No Turn Unstoned. Along the way, she collected various stories from her friends in theatre and film, and the result is nothing short but astounding.

Rigg managed to sell out an entire season at Edinburgh Fringe Festival recently, so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to catch her – and to top it all off, there will be a Q&A session after the performance!

Diana Rigg will be performing at the Duchess Theatre on October 20th, for one night only, so be sure to book your tickets. While you’re at it, book into a London hotel for your stay so you have somewhere to rest your head.
